“Everybody tryna cut the legs off him…”
DR Umar Johnson is controversial figure, sometimes prodigal even, yet contention is inedible with Umar employing magniloquence to present Pan African concepts over mainstream airwaves. His impenitence on matters such as adhd, interracial marriage, and fatherless homes are threats to the less audacious, butt more visible Black voices on radio and tv. Umar continues to push forward invading the space of those who’ve maintained there positions by operating within a reasonably margin to the status quo seemingly playing both sides of the middle in attempt to maintain there positions sheepherders. A few scandals, Tv host stratagems, and rampant Twitter attacks have only refined his rhetoric and propelled his mission.
“Hotep” is used in a disparaging manner in attempt debilitate his words by many popular blogs but to no avail. Dr Johnson remains steadfast navigating his way through heated conversations applying emotion only when accompanied by a pertinent idea. While we may not always agree with Dr Umar he’s become a stun grenade for consciousness, creating an aperture for light to penetrate.
